Jacob Hespeler Secondary School Library is located in Cambridge, Ontario Canada. The library houses approximately 17,000 volumes and numeous online databases which support the current Ontario curriculum. Borrowing privileges are extended to all registered students, faculty and staff of Jacob Hespeler Secondary School.

The Information Desk is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday throughout the school year. The staff will assist with using the catalogue, indexes, online databases, locating material, and other information requests.
Reference Services and Resources:
Essay and Research Tutorials: In-class sessions on research tools and techniques will be offered throughout the school year.
Donations: Jacob Hespeler Secondary School Library will accept gifts of material provided that they fall within its collection priorities. Materials are accepted on the clear understanding that the Library has control over what is kept, discarded, and where items will be located. Only items which will enhance the collection are added. Unfortunately, dated, yellowed, damaged or musty items will not be accepted. Gifts are acknowledged, and donation bookplates placed in each book retained. As per the donation agreement, all donated material becomes the property of Jacob Hespeler High School Library and may be added to the collection, sold, or otherwise discarded as the library chooses.
In-depth Research Assistance: Make an appointment to meet with the professional teacher-librarian to discuss in-depth your research needs. Relevant resources will be suggested, resource based units can be planned and online assignment pages designed. Appointments can be made at the reference desk.
