We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of some important dates that are coming up this semester.
Instructional Support Days: Wednesday, April 19th, and Thursday, April 20th, 2023

Instructional Support Days will be offered as scheduled on our ministry-approved school calendar. We have found from our experience that these days can be tremendously beneficial to our students’ well-being and provide an opportunity for catch up and deeper understanding on the topics covered in class. Instructional support days occur at approximately the midpoint in the semester.
Possible learning opportunities could include assessments (which could require in-person attendance), performances, conferences, completion of assignments, and meeting with collaborative groups, as determined by each course teacher.
- Students will be required to attend either in person or remotely
- ACE students will attend school with regular programming and follow regular attendance procedures
- Transportation will run at regular times
Professional Development Days – Friday, April 21st, 2023
The Professional Development Days will be offered as scheduled on our ministry-approved school calendar. These days are provided by the Ministry of Education for staff to align planning and thinking with Ministry and Board data and research to assist with student success.
Student expectations for these days are:
- All students will not attend in person or virtually and will have an opportunity to use their day to work on assigned coursework and/or catch up on outstanding assessments if required.
