Hello families,

Jacob Hespeler Secondary School runs the largest annual Fall Food drive in the City of Cambridge and we are underway with this year’s efforts.

Starting tomorrow, October 3rd, Jacob Hespeler Secondary School will be collecting non-perishable food items for our SuperMario Kart Food Drive. The collection will be taking place each morning and donations from the community will be accepted on Thursday, October 10th from 11:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 355 Holiday Inn Drive. The staff and students have a goal of having non-perishable food items loop the Mario Kart track (hoping for over 4000 items) by Friday, October 11th.

All non-perishable items will be accepted: Peanut butter, canned soup, pasta, canned vegetables/fruit, cereals, school safe snacks, condiments/spices, rice, canola/vegetable oil, packages of water, baby food/diapers.

The food drive will run from October 3rd to October 11th.
