Jacob Hespeler Secondary School runs the largest annual Fall Food Drive in the City of Cambridge, and we are underway with this year’s efforts.

Starting this Wednesday, October 1st, Jacob Hespeler Secondary School will be collecting non-perishable food items for our Harry Potter-themed Food Drive.

The collection will be taking place each morning in homeroom classrooms across the school, and donations from the community will be accepted on Wednesday, October 8th, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Zehrs Hespeler location on Holiday Inn Drive. The staff and students have a goal of collecting over 3500 non-perishable food items.

All non-perishable items will be accepted: Peanut butter, canned soup, pasta, canned vegetables/fruit, cereals, school-safe snacks, condiments/spices, rice, canola/vegetable oil, packages of water, and baby food, to name a few!

The food drive will run from October 1st to October 9th
