Welcome back Hawks; we hope you had a good summer!

The first day of school is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026.

This is the schedule for the first day of school:

8:10 am – 10:45 am – GRADE 9’s ONLY– Orientation, Assembly & Activities – All Grade 9’s are to report to the CAF where they will meet their homeroom teacher.

10:45 am – 11:45 am – Lunch

11:45 am- 12:20 pm- Period A

12:25 pm- 1:00 pm – Period B

1:05 pm – 1:40 pm – Period C

1:45 pm – 2:20 pm – Period D

All Grade 10, 11 and 12 students should arrive at school for classes to begin at 11:45 am.

Buses will run at their regular scheduled times.

All students in the ACE program, regardless of grade, will have a full day of instruction.

REQUIRED FORMS

The following mandatory forms must be completed for all students. Please log in to www.school-day.com for the links to all the forms:

  • Media Release Form
  • Concussion Code of Conduct
  • Responsible Use Procedure Form

STUDENT SCHEDULES

Students’ schedules have been emailed to their school email addresses but we will be sending once more by the end of the day on Thursday. In terms of course changes, we will only be allowing course changes until Friday September 11th. Priority will be given to students needing to change courses for their academic pathway.

BUSING

If your student is eligible for busing, their schedule has been posted on stswr.ca. Even if your student had busing last year, please log in to view your student’s schedule as there may have been changes. You will need your student’s OEN number to log in, which can be found on any of your student’s report cards. 

STUDENT PARKING & DROP OFF

Student parking is in the left large parking lot closest to Domino’s Pizza. Students must register their vehicle in the attendance office and get a parking sticker. Students are not to park in the front staff parking lot or the rear staff parking lots at the back of the school.

FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL: There should be no drop-offs or pick-ups at the front of the school. THIS IS FOR BUSING ONLY.

CHROMEBOOKS

All Grade 9 Students who opted into the WRDSB Chromebook Program will be given their Chromebooks on the first day of school. 

PHOTO DAY

Photo day will be on Thursday, September 10th. Students will be called down with their classes throughout the day.

LOCKERS

Lockers will be available on the first day of school. Please ensure your student brings a combination lock to school to register their lockers.
