On Wednesday, April 9th and Thursday, April 10th all of our Grade 10 students as well as any Grade 11 or 12 student who were previously eligible, but has not yet written the test or who has not yet been successful, will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). Students must successfully complete this literacy requirement for the granting of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Students will complete the OSSLT during A block over two days:
- Wednesday, April 9th – Part 1
- Thursday, April 10th – Part 2
There will be a slightly altered timetable on these days to allow for more time to write the test in A block. Both days will be regular school days for any students not writing the OSSLT.
More specific information for test writers will be shared soon. Parents and students interested in learning more about the OSSLT are invited to visit the EQAO website at https://www.eqao.com/the-assessments/osslt/.
