The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is pleased to encourage Grade 9 student participation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, in Take Our Kids to Work 2023!
If your Grade 9 child is participating in TOKTW Day, we ask that parents/guardians and caregivers log in to School Day and complete the required information.
Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTW) has a long history of being a successful opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in the workplace. TOKTW also connects parents/caregivers and their grade 9 students in a day full of fun and career exploration.
The WRDSB is supporting TOKTW in partnership with The Students Commission of Canada (SCC). To support educators, families, and employers in executing TOKW programming, SCC will develop resource guides with tools, agendas, and activities for both in-person and virtual experiences, available in English and French.
