Please be advised that this morning a lockdown was issued for Jacob Hespeler Secondary School, at the direction of police regarding a message that was later determined to not be a threat. Students were not released from their classrooms until police lifted the lockdown.

All students and staff were safe. All JHSS home and away games have been cancelled for today and staff are determining the possibility of rescheduling them
